Obituary

Dr. Connie Dee Frazer Curtis 64 passed away February 29 2012. A service in her honor will be held at Bethune-Cookman University Chapel on Monday March 5 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Connie's family will receive guests one half hour prior to the time of service. Interment to follow at Sunset Park Cemetery in South Daytona. She was the beloved Godmother of Ambar Saleh and O'Neil Brown. Loving grandmother of Andres Amal Omar Yousef Saleh and a dear friend to David Cipolloni. Connie leaves behind her four sisters; Diane White Katherine Douglas Violet Turner Aldine Stephens and two brothers; Louis and John Frazer. Dr. Curtis was the Department Head and Associate Professor of Modern Languages at Bethune-Cookman University for 28 years. She served the South Daytona community by caring for homeless and abused animals and looked after underprivileged people in her community.
