Connie Marie Catalano age 90 of Holly Hill passed away after a long illness on Monday January 10 2011. A funeral service in her honor will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday January 18 2011 at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes followed by an interment at Daytona Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Monday 5:00 -7:00 PM.
Connie was born in Brooklyn New York the youngest of 6 children to Rosario and Santa Gangi. She dedicated her life to taking care of her husband and her sons. In her early years she worked as a cosmetologist and later as a machine setter in the textile industry and was a talented crafter and wonderful cook. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her husband doing what he like to do; fishing going to auctions and being his dance partner.
Her parents 5 siblings and beloved husband of 61 years Louis Catalano preceded her in death and she leaves behind her sons; Vincent and Ross Catalano and many loving nieces and nephews.
