Funeral Services for Concetta Aparo 85 of Daytona Beach who passed away peacefully Thursday February 22 2007 with her family by her side at Ormond Memorial Hospital will be held Monday February 26 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with Pastor Charles Melvin officiating. Her family will be receiving friends at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond on Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. She was born March 14 1921 in Catania Sicily. She was a Physical Education Teacher in Italy. After retirement she traveled all over the world. She moved to Daytona Beach in 1991. She enjoyed traveling knitting crocheting writing poetry reading taking pictures and doll collecting. Concetta was predeceased by her husband Victor in October 20 1949. She is survived by her only son Paul Aparo and his wife Maria of Ormond Beach and three grandchildren Kathy Aparo Griffin from Deland Peter Aparo and Amy Decicco of Ormond Beach and four great grandchildren Billy Louis Isabella Maria.
