Colleen Becks 87 of Daytona Beach & North Carolina passed away peacefully at home on Friday September 13 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

Colleen was born on August 26 1926 in Orlando Florida to the late Johnnie (Montgomery) and Fred Brown. As a child her family moved to the Daytona Beach area where Colleen was raised. She was a graduate of Mainland High School.

She owned Susan & Katinka women's clothing store in Daytona Beach for many years.
Colleen was a devoted and loving mother grandmother and great grandmother. She also held a special place in her heart for animals. Throughout her years she had many loving pets
Colleen enjoyed antique shopping walking her dogs being with family and spending time at her home in North Carolina.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Hank Becks Connie (John) Schnebly Jennifer Becks; grandchildren Mark John Jr. Lori Michael; great grandchildren Marlie Brady Macy Berrien; daughter in law Patty Becks; former husband and father of her children Berrien Becks Sr. She also leaves behind many extended family members and close friends.

The family would like to extended sincere thanks to all of the caretakers and Hospice staff that cared for Colleen it was much appreciated.
