A Memorial Service for Cmdr. Ralph Robert Lang Naval Aviator (Retired) 86 of Ormond Beach who was taken by God to his home on January 30 2009 will be held at 10:00am Tuesday February 3 2009 at St. James Episcopal Church 44 S. Halifax Rd. Ormond Beach FL with burial to follow Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday February 2 2009 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.

Born on January 15 1923 in Westville NJ to Lillian & Joseph Lang Ralph retired after 21 years as a Naval Commander Navy Aviator and Fighter Pilot. He attended the Wharton School of Business in PA and he was an entrepreneur a land owner cattleman and rancher. He was a member of Oceanside Country Club the Retired Military Officers Association.

Survivors include his beloved wife Rose of Ormond Beach; his sons: Jonathan (Cathy) Lang of Tucson AZ and Calvin (Jan) Lang of Ellensberg WA; a brother Calvin (Nettie) and his grandchildren: Doug Vanessa Justin Amanda Adam and Grant.
