Clyde Thompson Barbour (Tom), 58, peacefully passed through Heaven's gate Sunday, October 12th surrounded by family and friends at Florida Hospital Hospice Care in Ormond Beach.
Born August 19, 1956 in Mariemont, Ohio to Clyde and Opal (Eileen) Barbour, and lived most of his life in Ormond Beach, FL. He graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1974, and married his best friend and soul mate, Ann 40 years ago, who took care of him patiently, tirelessly and with a love like no other through his courageous battle this past year with cancer.
Tom was a "master of all trades", and could repair, build or install anything without hesitation to all who needed him. He was a humble, honorable man that lived life with integrity, humor and fun times.
He was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Stacy (Neal) Kelly, Port Orange, Fl. and Jennifer (Michael) Caffrey, Ormond Beach, Fl. and further blessed with grandchildren, whom he adored and they lovingly referred to as "Pop Pop", Kailani and Kekoa Kelly and Gabriel and Karissa Caffrey. He is also survived by his cherished family, sisters Reva Boone and Carol Sapp, Maysville, Ky., brothers Kenny (Regina) Barbour, Port Orange, Fl., David (Brenda) Barbour, Maysville, Ky., Bobby (Brooke) Barbour, Palm Coast, Fl., Mark Barbour, Naples, Fl., Gary (Kelli) Barbour, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., and Omar Barbour, Ormond Beach, Fl.
Tom will also be greatly missed by his cousins, Jay, Denny, Karen, Jerry and especially, Jimmy Barbour and their families, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom is together again with his much loved parents, looking down on us until we meet again. Special thanks to his extended family that loved him as their own, the Kulzer family. A Celebration of Life with family was held on Tuesday, October 14th under the care of Lohman Funeral Home, Ormond Beach.
