Claude Jackson "Jack" Dyal, 91 of South Daytona, FL went home to be with his Lord and loving wife on December 28, 2020.
He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Allen O. and Ada Mae Dyal on November 23,1929. He was a graduate of Jacksonville Technological School class of 1949.
He joined the Air Force in 1950. He served for 4 years at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas during the Korean War. He became a medic and rose to the rank of Staff Sargent.
He married Patsy Phillips in 1953. After finishing his service commitment, he entered the University of Florida, where he graduated with B.S. Degree in Pharmacy. After graduation he went to work at Osteen's Pharmacy and in 1972 founded Dyal's Pharmacy and eventually added four other pharmacies. He served the Daytona Beach community as a pharmacist for over 50 years.
He is survived by his children Susan Dyal (Terry) of Jacksonville, Nancy Bell (Dennis) of Oviedo, Jackie Patenaude (Brian) of South Daytona, and James Dyal (Tina) of Middleburg.
He has four grandchildren – Ryan Bell, Laurel Fuller, Jared Dyal, and Nathan Patenaude. He has seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces and nephew, Patricia Pilinko, Carol Watson, Cheryl Tahran, and Robert Dyal.
He is remembered as a beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
