Our beloved mother, Claretha Lane, 76, of Deland, was peacefully called home to be with our lord on Tuesday, April 23, 2015. Mrs. Lane was a long time resident of Deland. A Funeral Service in Celebration of her life will be held at Lohman Funeral Home Deland Chapel on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11:00am. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Deland. Her love was never ending with a mother's true heart. As she leaves, we cherish memories of her. She is survived by 2 daughters Lisha Lane, Jeannette Brown; 5 sons Circuit Judge James (Pam) Clayton, Robert (Priscilla) Lane, Timothy Lane, Larry (Sheila) Lane, Greg Jefferson; 1 brother Eugene (Doressa) Conely; 5 sisters Elnora Washington, Linda Swint, Eddie May (Jimmie) Jackson, Beatrice Evans, Margaret (Elden) Bookheart; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one sister Mae Gearring.
