Claire Morgan Brown, 93, of Holly Hill peacefully passed away February 12, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor Friday, February 21, 2014 at 2pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Family welcomes friends to gather at 1:30pm.

Claire was born and raised in Fall River, MA. She married William P. Brown, her dear husband of over 49 years. They moved to Agawam, MA in 1954. Claire worked as a secretary and book-keeper. Claire and Bill retired to South Daytona in 1981. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.

Claire will be remembered for her great sense of humor. She was an avid bridge player in several local clubs. She was also an enthusiastic shopper, evidenced by her beautifully stocked clothes closets! Claire was well loved by her family and many friends.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Leslie Melaney (Ray); by her son Capt. William M. Brown (Pamela); by her grandchildren: Erin Brown, Patrick Brown, Michelle Wolcott (Mark), Melissa Zoda (Jim), and Raymond Melaney (Sharon); and her great-grandchildren: Emily, Anna, Charlotte, and Nicholas; and by many nieces and nephews. Claire was preceded in death by her husband Bill. She will be inurned with him in the spring at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
