Cynthia "Cindy" Kinberger, 61, of Port Orange, Florida passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 20, 2015.
She was born June 8, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Roy and Adrine (Stephens) Hester.
In 1992, Cindy and her husband, John, relocated to Volusia County and opened The Dream Inn in Daytona Beach Shores. She loved vacationing around the world, especially the beaches, she enjoyed listening to Jimmy Buffett, shopping, but most of all being with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Kinberger, Jr. Port Orange, her son, Jody (Carrie) Kinberger, Port Orange, her daughter, Tricia (Kyle) Dowdell, Deltona, FL, four grandchildren, Adrienna and Colton Kinberger, and Kenneth and Emily Dowdell, by five sibling, Betty Pierce, James Hester, Steve Hester, Wanda Montgomery and Pat Coons, all of Louisville, KY.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd at 1:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona; 1423 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services. Tropical attire is recommended but not mandatory.
