Christopher A. Sechrist, age 49, died early Saturday, December 23, 2017. He was born in South Bend, Indiana to Stephen & Janice (Garman) Sechrist, on May 14, 1968. He attended school in Michigan City, Indiana until moving with his parents to Port Orange, FL in 1985. He graduated from Spruce Creek High School, Daytona Beach Community College and the University of Central Florida.  He worked in the Volusia County School system and several Day Care centers until medical problems stopped him. He was a member of the Center for Spiritual Living, sang in their choir and was a member of the Traumatic Brain Injury support group. In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Kevin. Christopher's smile will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held a Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL. Visitation will be at 10:00 am, Thursday January 4, 2018, followed by a 11:00 am Service.
