Christopher Wade Rice, 40 of Ormond Beach, died May 23, 2013 at his home. A memorial service will be held at Salty Church, 221 Vining Court, Ormond Beach on Saturday June 1st at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be held June 8th at the Episcopal Cemetery in Winnsboro SC.

Christopher was born on October 11, 1972 in Winnsboro SC to Crosby and Alice Rice. He graduated high school from Richard Winn Academy in 1991. After graduation, Christopher went on to attend Daytona State College and competed his education in business administration at Central Florida University. He enjoyed fishing hunting travel and enjoying time with friends and family. Chris was a long time employee of Hawaiian Tropic in Ormond Beach and as a confirmed bachelor thoroughly enjoyed his job especially the Hawaiian Tropic Pageants. Chris never met a stranger and had gift for being a great listener enabling him to make friends throughout the world. He was an amazing salesman who went into business for himself selling promotional goods after leaving Hawaiian Tropic.

He is survived by his mother, Alice Rice of Winnsboro, SC; his sister, Beverly Rice Kays of Roswell, GA; his uncle, Ron Rice of Ormond Beach; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Crosby Rice; his grandparents; and cousin, Stephen Dandridge of Port Orange.
