Christopher S. Gainey, 62, of Port Orange, FL, passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on August 20th, 1959 in Daytona Beach, FL to Theodore and Shirley Gainey.
Christopher was raised in Port Orange, FL and spent a lot of years in SC. He attended Spruce Creek High School and graduated from Liberty High in SC.
Christopher was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Gainey and by his father, Theodore Gainey.
He is survived by his Mother, Shirley Gainey;
two brothers, Jody Gainey and wife Lisa Gainey and Mark Gainey;
two daughters, Michelle Platt and her husband, Jeffrey Platt and  Tiffany Gainey;
two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Ogden and Leigh-Anna Evette; four other grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am on Wednesday June 1, 2022 with the Funeral Service being held at 11:00am all at Church of Christ, 850 Beville Road, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114. Interment will be private.
