Funeral services for Christine H. Braddock 92 Ormond Beach who died Tuesday December 21 2004 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday December 29 2004 at Baggett and Summers Funeral Home. Family will recieve friends one hour prior to service. Christine was the wife of 56 years to the late Sidney J. Braddock. Born March 14 1913 in Columbus Ohio. She moved to this area in 1925. She attended local schools and graduated from Mainland High School Clas of 1930. She worked as an executive secretary for a number of local engineering firms and retired in 1973 from Daytona Beach Commmunity College. She was a member of the Port Orange Methodist Church United Methodist Women and Daughters of the American Revolution Abigail Bartholomew Chapter. Her hobbies were painting reading embroidering and geneology. She is survived by her son Robert J. Braddock Winter Haven: daughter Mrs. Merry B. Day Ormond Beach; five grandchildren: and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia A. Braddock and her husband Sidney J. Braddock.
