Cheryl Lorraine Dietz of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away at home on September 21, 2023, with her family at her bedside. She passed peacefully and with grace, just as she lived her entire life.

Cheryl was born on February 24, 1957, to Frederick and Frances Zickert in Albuquerque, NM. After Cheryl graduated from Judge Memorial High School in Salt Lake city, UT, she went on to study Computer Science at Utah State University and the University of Nebraska, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree. She went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of South Dakota. She held many progressively challenging positions during her career, ultimately retiring as an IT executive in the cable TV industry.

Cheryl is survived by many loving family members including her parents Frederick and Frances Zickert of Phoenix, AZ, sister Carolyn Gamache of Evergreen, CO, brother Randy Zickert of La Mesa, CA, and brother Michael Zickert of Cleveland Heights, OH.

Most importantly, Cheryl will be looking down on the true loves of her life, grandsons Sean Graber, Declan and Reilly Thompson, and Huxley Dietz … and, last but not least, her beloved cats Jack Daniels and Dora the Explorer as well as her collection of sloths!

Celebration of Life to be held at noon on Saturday October 7th 2023 at Lohman's Funeral Home located at 733 W. Granada Blvd in Ormond Beach. Open House to follow at 4:00 PM for close friends and family at the Dietz Residence located at 10 Moss Point Drive in Ormond Beach
