Funeral Service for Charlotte Schweitzer age 78 will be at Port Orange United Church of Christ on April 9 2008 at 11:00 A.M. A second service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a time and date to be announced.
Charlotte was born in Washington D.C. and moved to Port Orange in 1989. Her interests include writing poetry doll and recipe collecting music and crafts. She played the piano and organ. Charlotte was a heart transplant recipient of 22 years. Prior to her marriage she was employed by the FBI Justice Department and later as secretary to Congressman Watts of Kentucky.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of fifty years Don; two daughters Lisa Ljungberg of Westport CT and Dana Nicely of Alexandria VA; granddaughter Kelly Ljungberg of Golden CO; grandsons Ryan and Michael of Westport CT; twin great-grandsons Aidan and Alexander of Golden CO.
