Obituary

Charlotte Hart, 79, also known as Roberta, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, in Ormond Beach, Florida. She was born on September 30, 1946, in Lewistown, Montana. Looking back on the tapestry of her life, Charlotte was both gifted and blessed as she searched for adventure, and service she also gave unwavering love and inspiration to her family and faith.

A graduate of Mansfield High School, Mansfield, Arkansas. Charlotte carried the values of perseverance and curiosity throughout her life. Her adventurous spirit led her to earn a private pilot's license, an achievement that reflected both her courage and determination, and influenced her granddaughter Ashley, who is now an American Airlines Capt. Charlotte was also a gifted pianist who shared her love of music with children by teaching them to play piano. Her talent and patience inspired many students and brought joy to those around her.

Charlotte's deep appreciation for nature and community found expression in her volunteer work with the National Park Service in the Great Smoky Mountains. There, she gave generously of her time and energy, contributing to the preservation of wildlife and natural beauty, connecting with and helping others with a shared interest.

Guided by a profound faith in God and compassion for others, Charlotte participated in five mission trips to Haiti and six Messianic service trips to Israel. Alongside her husband Eddie Hart, she supported Israeli Messianic congregations through Tikkun Global Ministry, restored a bomb shelter in Tzfat, Israel, and supported the City of David Restoration project in Jerusalem. Their shared love for restoration of Israel, physically and spiritually, fostered strong relationships with Messianic ministries and families in Israel.

For her last 25 years, she was a devoted member of Shomair Yisrael, a Messianic Jewish Congregation in Knoxville, Tennessee. When her health prevented her from Shabbat Services, she always watched via webcast. Her love for Yeshua (Jesus) was evident in every aspect of her life.

Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband, Eddie Hart; their children: Shannon Butterworth (Derik) of Ormond Beach, Bryon Hart of Daytona Beach, and Jeannie Loy of Knoxville. She was the proud grandmother of Grace, Brooke, & Ashley (children of Shanno); Breanna & Xavier (children of Bryon); and Matthew & Megan (children of Jeannie).

Charlotte was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Hollister; grandmother, Florence Hollister Cummings; and her brother, Dean Bray.

Her legacy is one of devotion to Adonai shown by her love for family, faith, music, service, and to the betterment of life, beauty, preservation and salvation found in both people and places. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. L'Chaim B'Yeshua.

A Memorial Service for Charlotte will be held at the family home at 290 Military Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174, on Sunday, December 7th, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
