Charlette Marie Bleecker 72 of Port Orange passed away on Saturday February 4 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 5:30 PM on Wednesday February 8 2012 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. The family will be receiving friends from 4:30 PM til the service begins at 5:30 PM at the funeral home.

Charlette Bleecker was born on April 5 1939 in Amityville NY to Charles and Cora Geiger. She retired as the Clinic Manager of Dental Hygene at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Farmingdale. She moved to this area in 2009 from Amityville NY.
She was Vice President of the auxiliary and coordinator of the surgical information desk at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach FL.

She loved volunteering at the hospital. She also loved her dogs and being involved in dog shows. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and the time spent with them.

She was preceded in death on August 16 2006 by her husband of 47 years C. Winslow Bleecker whom she married on June 26 1959.
She is survived by her son Cuyler (Lisa) of Port Orange FL; daughter Cuylette (Steven) Bishop of Columbia NJ; sister Helen Booth of Peconic NY; three grandchildren Sierra Bishop Cuyler A. Bleecker and Kaitlyn Bleecker all of Port Orange FL.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105 or to the American Cancer Society PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City OK 73123.
