Charles B. Trakshel 86 of South Daytona passed away Monday March 5 2012. Visitation will be held Thursday March 8 from 6-8pm at Cardwell Funeral Home 3571 So. Ridgewood Av. Port Orange. Funeral Mass will be Friday March 9 at 10am at The Church of the Epiphany 201 Layfayette Rd. Port Orange.

Charles and his wife Dorothy moved to So. Daytona in 1990 from the Chicago area. Charles was an avid golfer. He and Dorothy loved to travel. Charles served his country in the Army in WWII. He then worked as a Corporate Controller. He loved his family very much.

Charles will be sadly missed by his wife Dorothy; Children: Gary (Denise) Trakshel Cathy (William) Gross Karen (Patrick) Ryan; Grandchildren: Lindsay Jacob Geoff Brynne Charley; and Great-grandchildren: Addison Kaeleigh and Carson.
