Charles J. Torretto 91 of South Daytona passed away on Monday September 1 2008. The family will be receiving friends at Baggett-Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach on Wednesday (today) from 3-5pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday September 4 2008 at 1:30 pm in Daytona Memorial Park. Mr. Torretto moved to this area 30 years ago from New York. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and going to the dog track. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years. Survivors include his two daughters Theresa Torretto and her companion Jim Merola of East Meadow NY and Catherine (Louis) Coiro of Hope Well Junction NY; two granddaughters Yvonne and Laura; and two great-grandchildren Vincent and Sophia.
