A visitation for Charles F. Smith of Ormond Beach who died Wednesday August 3rd 2005 at Ormond Memorial Hospital will be Saturday August 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Services will be at a later date in West Virginia.
Charles was born on October 21 1937 in Logan WV to Charley C. and Versa Mae Harvey Smith and moved to this area from Scott Depot WV in 1994. Charles was a retired Secondary School Principal in West Virginia and was currently working as a realtor here in Ormond Beach. He was a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals the Knights of Columbus and the National Association of Realtors. Charles received a Masters in Education from West Virginia University. Charles will be remembered most as a devoted husband father grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Victoria Susan Jarrell Smith a son Charles Cameron and his wife Raquel of Ashland KY a daughter Angela Denise Boggess and her husband William Timothy of Orlando FL a sister Eula Godby of Logan WV a brother Argie Smith of Jacksonville FL and one grandchild William Nicholas Boggess.
