Charles Richard Pratt passed away peacefully Thursday September 16 2010 after a brief but courageous struggle with an illness at Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach Florida. Charles was 62 years old born in Green Castle Indiana on September 27 1947 son to Samuel Ernest Pratt and Mary Evelyn Otenberg. Left to cherish his memories is beloved wife of 44 years Clara Pratt; his daughter Laura (Mike) Morgan of New Smyrna Beach FL; his brother Tom Pratt of Montpelier VT; his sisters Jeanette Shepard of Lake Panasoffkee FL and Patricia Davis of Edgewater FL; his adoring grandchildren Garrett Willis Paul Morgan and Ally Morgan; and his loving nieces & nephews along with numerous friends & family. Charles celebrated his life with lots of family and dear friends and enjoyed his time with them all especially when it came to Hunting Fishing and 4-Wheel Riding. He truly adored spending time with his grandchildren. He was a proud member of the Rock Island Law Camp; and former owner of Pratt's Radiator in New Smyrna Beach where his kindness towards others shined by helping friends in need.
