Born in Elizabeth NJ he moved to Ormond Beach in 1996 from Roselle NJ. Charlie was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the and past President of the OBPAAA Charter member of the Korean War Veterans # 189. Charles was a volunteer at the Talking Books Library. He was a huge and long time NY Giants and Yankees Fan who also enjoyed fishing with his grandson and cars. He retired from Genlyte of Secaucus NJ in 1995.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Sarah (Sally) Ohning; daughters Cindy (Ralph) Resignadto of S. Amboy NJ Robbin (Jamie) Banegas of Parlin NJ; sister Lorraine Happ of Daytona Beach; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
