Charles William Noske "Chuck" age 61 of South Daytona Florida took his final ride Friday August 30 2013. Chuck suffered a heart attack while enjoying a game of pool with his buddies and later passed away in transport to Halifax Hospital. Born September 22 1951 in Washington DC. to Charles Walter Noske and Lois Williams-Noske raised in Beltsville MD where he graduated from High Point High School in 1969 followed by an immediate draft into the Army. Upon return from his military service he joined the Mailers Union where he enjoyed a 20+ year career with the Washington Post. In 1994 Chuck and his son relocated to South Daytona where he worked and retired from the Daytona Beach News Journal in February of 2013.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast who started riding in his youth; this hobby continued and grew throughout his life. Chuck recently took his dream trip to Sturgis SD with his Son in August 2013 a trip the boys had been planning for well over 5-years. Chuck also enjoyed cooking and caring for his home with specific detail given to his lawn and small gardens.
Chuck is survived in death by sisters Karen Noske-Kelsey and Deborah Noske-Mitchell; two children Lynette Noske-Haynie of Pasadena MD Bryan Noske and wife Catherine Noske of South Daytona Fl.
Four beautiful grandchildren Angelina Lauren Haynie 6 of Pasadena MD Gracie Marie Noske 6 of Port Orange Fl Jayleen Paige Miller-Noske 15 and Lindsey Jade Miller-Noske 10 both of South Daytona Florida as well as Best friends Patricia Charles and Bill O'Brien both of South Daytona.
The family will receive friends at his memorial service at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach Fl.32114 on Saturday September 7 2013 at 10am; with a small reception to follow. Guests are encouraged to ride to the service in honor of dad's life passion.
The family wishes to thank the quick response of the staff at Marks Sports Pub for their swift attention and concern. Likewise we thank the Volusia County First Responders and South Daytona Police Department who came to his aide and provided us with their assistance and heartfelt condolences.
