Obituary

Charles Mogar, Jr., 74, of Palm Coast, FL passed away on July 18, 2015. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00pm in the Lohman Palm Coast Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Mantua, New Jersey at Smith Funeral Home.

Charles was born June 16, 1941 in Salem, NJ. He was the son of Charles and Marie
(Vitagliano) Mogar, Sr. He married Mary Virginia Williamson and they started their own family. Charles worked as a Produce Manager for 20 years. He then started a second career with the New Jersey Transit System as an electrician and a mechanic for 22 years.

Charles was a member of Incarnation Church in Mantua, NJ. He became a Knight of Columbus there with his father. Charles also was a Scout Master. He enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was a loyal Eagles fan. Charles also had raced stock cars.

Charles will be remembered as a very good person. He never had a harsh word for anyone. He loved to travel and surprised his wife on their 23rd Anniversary with a cruise. They traveled somewhere very nice for every anniversary. On their 50th Anniversary, they took a river cruise through Europe and then went to Africa!

Charles will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years, Mary Virginia Mogar; by his children and grandchildren: son Charles A. Mogar and his wife Terry and their children: Angel, Charles A. Jr., and Kayleeanna, son Robert T. Mogar and his children: Nicholas and Michael; daughter Dawn Halbruner and her husband John and their children: Jason (wife Kara), Tiara, Annabella, Luke, Justyne (husband Mike), and Courtnee, and son Bryan L. Mogar and his wife Cheryl and their children: Jennifer Michelle and Tyler. He is also survived by his 6 great-grandchildren: Mariah, Scott Jr., Talia, Jensen, Kaleigh, and Addison; and by his siblings: Raymond Hutchinson, Michael Mogar, Marlene Smith (husband Jim), and Theresa Gannon (husband Bill).

Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
