Charles H. "Chubby" Hower Jr. 81 passed away August 6 2012. A funeral service in his honor will be held on August 10 2012 at 11:00 A.M at Cardwell Funeral Home; 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave Port Orange FL 32129 interment will follow at Edgewater New Smyrna Cemetery. A visitation for Charles will be held on Thursday August 9 2012 from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M at Cardwell Funeral Home. Charles drove stockcars in East Windsor NJ Wall Township NJ and Palatka FL for a total of 50 years. He was the proud owner of Chubby's Sports Bar for many years. Charles was the beloved husband of Grace M. Hower for over 34 years. Loving father of Carol (Dan) White Bobby Hower Betsi Hower the late Norman Hower Nancy (Bob) Cook and Michael Hower. Caring step-father of Richard (Patricia) Shannon the late Michael Shannon Robert (Teri) Shannon and Patrick Shannon.
