Charles N. Griffin age 87 of Ormond Beach died January 10 2005 in Florida Memorial Hospital Ormond Beach. Charles was born July 7 1917 in Chicago Illinois .He was the son of Charles and Florence Griffin. He came to Ormond Beach in 1953 from Chicago. Charles retired in 1983 as manager for Park?s Seafood. Charles was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where he was head usher member of Knights of Columbus 4th degree #5422 VFW Post 1590 and Daytona Beach Elks club. He served in the United States Army serving during WWII. He enjoyed fishing being outdoors and he loved to cook. Charles is survived by his daughter: Judy Williams his sister Dorothy Werling of Chicago and one granddaughter Heather Huguenor of Newfane NY. He was preceded in death by his son Warren. Relatives and friends are invited to his mass of Christian burial Thursday January 13th at 1:00 PM Prince of Peace Catholic Church. His family will receive friends in the chapel of the church from 12:00 Noon till time of Mass with interment following in Daytona Memorial Park South.
