Mr Charles E Edmonds Jr 75 of Ocean 6 in Daytona Beach Shores passed away Wednesday January 9th at his home. Born in Flushing NY he moved to this area over 20 years ago from Syracuse. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War serving in Germany. He graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and retired in 1992 after 35 years as a Mechanical Engineer for General Electric. Charlie was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and as an avid gun enthusiast was a member of the NRA and the Flagler Sports and Conservatory Gun Club. He was also a member of the Condo Board of Ocean 6. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Trudi. A Catholic Service in his memory will be celebrated on Sunday January 13th at 300 pm in the Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home in Port Orange officiated by Father Peter Quinn.
