Charles James Clark was born in Hampton Fl. to the late Ellen Alexander and Herbert Clark on June 16th, 1932. He attended R.J.E. High School of Starke, Fl. He served one term in the Armed Forces with the U.S. Army, After his discharge he returned to Starke, where he married his wife of 59 years, Beverly. Mr. Clark has lived in several Florida cities , including Jacksonville and West Palm Beach where he worked as aa shipping clerk. The Clarks spent 30 years there. After his retirement they moved to Daytona Beach where Charles took a job with Jon Hall as a courtesy driver.
Mr. Clark enjoyed working on his cars, in his yard and a good game of pool. Charles entered into rest on August 12th at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange after a long illness. He leaves behind to mourn his passing his wife of 59 years, Beverly, his daughter Patricia Goodwin, two sisters Norma Jean Cromwell and Mary McGregor, both of Gainseville, Fl. a brother Paul Green and one sister-in law, Ernestine Flowers of Keystone Heights, Fl. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Alexander, his father Herbert Clark, and brother, Johnell Flowers.
