Charles (Chuck) E. Bruce, son of the late Frank Sr. and Katherine Bruce, born June 27, 1937, passed into the Lords hands Saturday March 18, 2017.

Chuck was employed for 47 years with Phillips Inc. as a Medical Imaging Service Manager. He lived and traveled all over the United States and retired in Deland FL in 2005. He was a member of St. Peter's Parish and a 4th degree member of Council #6274 Knights of Columbus.
He was a volunteer for the St. Peter's Oktoberfest, Adoration Chapel and Bereavement Ministry.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Melva (Townsend) Bruce, his three daughters and husbands; Kelly and Mike Bernier of New Hampshire, Dana and Tony Wolski of Illinois and Jill and Jeff Stauffer of Indiana.; two grandchildren; Meghan and Ian Walch and Kyle Bernier, two brothers George and his wife Thelma of Ohio, Larry and his wife Sharon of Minnesota, and his sister Gloria Smitley of Ohio. Chuck was predeceased by a baby son, Charles Jr.; his two sisters, Nancy Faber and Paula Wallace, and his two brothers, Frank Jr. and Robert Bruce.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Lohman Funeral Home Deland, 935 E. New York Ave. Deland FL 32724.

A Full Christian Mass will be celebrated at St Peter's Catholic Church, Deland at 10 AM Saturday March 25, 2017 with a reception to follow.
