Pittsburgh native, Charles "Chuck" Brophy, 66, died peacefully in his home in Flagler Beach, FL on Friday, January 17, 2014.

Chuck lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed living out his last few years in paradise. He was loyal, honest, logical, kind, and supportive to his loved ones. He will be so greatly missed but his legend will live on forever. He taught his children so many lessons about life, and will always be remembered for fighting the good fight, standing up for what he believed in, and doing whatever it takes to find happiness and appreciate his blessings, and that material things have zero importance.

Chuck is survived by his love, Deb Vanderbur, his sons Tommy and Jon, daughter Maria and her spouse Jake Korn, grandchildren Madison and Jason, 2 brothers Larry and James, and sister Nancy.

Visitation will be held at Lohman Funeral Home in Palm Coast from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Catholic funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
