Charles Wilson Bungay, 76, of Casselberry, Florida passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025. He was born on May 1, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to Wilson and Jeannie (Campbell) Bungay.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Lohman Funeral Home – Deltona. Friends are invited to gather at 11:00 am with a service beginning at 12:00 pm.

Charles was an Army veteran, joining during the Vietnam era with his friends; he served one tour in Vietnam. He was a machinist, and was proud to say some of the metal works he created are now a part of the Space Station. He had a strong work ethic, which he instilled in his children. Charles also loved football. Hailing from Detroit, he was a huge Lions fan, but having spent a significant portion of his life in Florida, he proudly supported the Miami Dolphins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Jeannie (Campbell) Bungay; his four brothers; and his four sisters.

Charles is survived by his sons, Charles Bungay II, and Aaron (Heather) Bungay; his granddaughter, Christina Barrett; and his great-grandson, Donald Evan Barrett Bungay.
