Charles O. "Bud" "Paga" Pike

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dr. Charles Olson "Bud" "Paga" Pike Jr., 79 of Ormond Beach FL, who passed away September 10, 2018, will be held Saturday, September 22, at St. Brendan's Catholic Church, 11:30 am.  Burial will follow at Daytona Memorial Park, Daytona Beach.  Calling hours Lohman's Funeral Home, Ormond Beach: Friday, September 21, from 4 - 8 pm.

Bud was born June 20, 1939, in Akron Ohio, a son to Charles Olson Sr. and Florence MacKinnon Pike. Surviving "Paga"are his children: Kerry Hayes & Caley Hayes ("fourth kid"); Kellie Delamerens, (Tori & Vonn); Kory (Cynthia) Pike, (Ashley, Katelyn, & Connor); Michele (Kerry) McCoole (Keelan, Molly & Maggie); and Robert Mackensie of New Hampshire; and Sister Nancy (Dave) Sheppard of Newburyport, MA.

Predeceased by the love of his life Andrea on 09/10/2016.

Bud and Andrea met at a CYO dance in Orlando when she was working for Bellsouth Telephone Co. and Bud was serving in the United States Air Force. They were married on August 14, 1965, in Orlando FL. and honeymooned at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. Ormond became their home when Bud accepted a job with General Electric Co. and then became a computer professor at Daytona State College for over 30 years!  Bud's avid interest in antique Model A's, T's, and Mustangs – as long as they were FORD – were his second love!
