Charles Edward "Bubba" Purcell, 61, of Wilbur by the Sea, died September 20, 2016 surrounded by his family. Born in Daytona Beach to Diana (McLeod) and Charles Purcell on November 30, 1954, he was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Mainland High School. Bubba, also known as Chuck, worked in sales for many years locally before joining the security force at International Speedway Corporation. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Raeann Hart, son, Nathan Whitlock, daughter Kaylin (Armand), brothers, Rick (Joann), John (Doreen),Jeff (Ellie), numerous family members and his faithful dog, Lilly. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 24 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 485 Turnbull Bay Rd., New Smyrna Beach beginning at 11:00a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation in Charles' name to the Halifax Humane Society- 2364 W.
