Memorial Services for Charles William ?Bill? Bornmann 87 of Holly Hill will be 2:00pm Thursday February 16 2006 at Bishops Glenn Holly Hill. Mr. Bornmann was born June 7 1918 in Williamsport PA and moved to Daytona Beach as a child. In 1940 he joined the Daytona Beach National Guard and in January 1941 he went with them on active duty to Galveston Texas. In 1943 he transferred to the U.S. Air Force and attended pilot training graduating as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1944. In 1964 he retired as an U.S. Air Force Major in Orlando where he lived until 2001 when he moved back to Daytona Beach. While in Orlando he was an employee of SunBank and an avid golfer. Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years Marion two sons David Oldsmar FL and Ron Deltona FL a daughter Molly Norris of Alexandria VA one grandson and two great grandchildren and a brother Stanley Lakeland FL.
