Charles Ramsay Allen of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away July 19, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Orlando, Florida on April 10, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Kathryn Ramsay Allen and his sister, Kittie Allen Francisco. He served his country during the Viet Nam era in the US Navy where he was stationed as an interpretator in the Philippines and the South China Sea. He went on to have a very successful career for many years as an attorney in Ormond Beach, Florida. Throughout his life he was involved in many charitable organizations both financially and volunteering his time. He was an avid international traveler and enjoyed exploring his Scottish heritage while traveling abroad. He also obtained the title of his Lordship of Hanbeck Manor, England. He is survived by his brother, Ward Ramsay Allen, Sr. (Sandra Van Gundy Allen), Lawrenceville, Georgia, He is also survived by his niece, Kristan Allen Bagley (Michael Bagley), and nephews, Ward Ramsay Allen, Jr. (Kimberly McLean Allen), and Russell McArthur Allen and their families and many friends. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or your local animal shelter/pet rescue in honor of Charles.
