Visitation for Charlene Ann Williams (nee Pollard), 82, of Palm Coast, Fla., will be held Saturday May 3 from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW, Palm Coast, FL 32137. A service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Union Ridge Cemetery in Chicago on May 10.

Charlene loved her family, treasured her friends, and drew inspiration from the farmers and families of Brunswick, Mo., who like her own family, survived the Great Depression through thrift, hard work, great neighbors, and a defiant sense of humor.

Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Norman Williams, and is survived by beloved sisters Jean Harper of Palo Alto, Calif., and Coralee Paull of St. Louis, Mo.; children Charles (Mary) Williams of South Bend, Ind., and Kirk (Jean) Williams of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; grandchildren Jessica (M.G.) Apte; Shaina (Nikolas) Harding; Joyce Huang; Rachel (Tom) Van Heel; and David, Eric, and John Williams; great-grandchildren Genevieve Apte, Lucia Van Heel, and Ashton and Grace O'Shell, and by many nieces and nephews.
