A Mass of Christian Burial for Celestine "Gloria" Pulvino age 86 who passed away on Mother 's Day Sunday May 10 2009 at Florida Hospital Flagler will be Thursday May 14th at 10:30am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 2pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 4-6pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday May 13th at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Gloria was born on Christmas Day 1922 in Brooklyn NY. She met and married Russell Pulvino and together they raised five children. She was a devoted mother whose life was devoted to her children and to the Lord. She was caring and loving; and she'll be greatly missed by her family. In 1989 Gloria and her husband retired to Palm Coast. They enjoyed traveling in their motor home especially through the Blue Ridge Mountains. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Russell Pulvino her five children two sons Russell Jr. (Joy) of Grayslake IL; John (Rosemarie) of Hampton VA; three daughters Barbara Canone (Alfred {deceased}) Orlando FL; Theresa (Larry) Pinghera of Long Island NY; Celeste Lorenzo of Palm Coast FL; twelve grandchildren Alfred Jennifer and Christopher Canone Denise Ramos John Jr. and Lauren Pulvino Daniel Lorenzo and Ben Bryan and Brad Oliver and Katelyn and Lindsey Pulvino; 5 great grandchildren Brandon Ramos Bryana Ramos and Robert Canone and Brandon and Ashton Oliver and many nieces and nephews including Janet and George. She was preceded in death by her two sisters Antoinette Curcio and Theresa Scura.
