Celestia Hintze Coolbaugh, 101, a resident of Port Orange, Florida passed away on Sunday June 24 at the Halifax Hospice Care Center in Port Orange. Celestia was born in Duryea, PA. to Charles and Anna Hintze, and moved to Newark, N.J. with her husband Joseph in the early 1940's. In Newark, she began her career with the Prudential Insurance Co. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Newark, and a charter member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Port Orange after moving from Newark in 1978. Celestia was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Joseph Coolbaugh , but leaves behind her children, Ronald J. Coolbaugh, Arleine Colonna, and Lurana Coolbaugh, her grandchildren Randy Coolbaugh, Ronda Hildreth, Eric Coolbaugh, Darryl and Matthew Colonna , and Tracy Neals, her four great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held for Celestia on Friday July 6th at All Saints Lutheran Church in Port Orange, beginning at 11 am.
