Cecile M. Cleary 87 of Port Orange passed away at home on Thursday October 22nd 2009. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday October 26th at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange 1201 Dunlawton Ave. The family will receive guest from 2 pm until 3:30 pm. Chaplin Larry Hanson will be officiating; the service will begin at 3:30 pm. Mrs. Cleary was born on September 12th 1922 in Springfield Massachusetts to the late George W. and Cecilia M. Matthews (Gaboury). Cecile moved to the Daytona Beach area in 1964 from Lee Massachusetts. She enjoyed being a homemaker and had career in banking. Mrs. Cleary enjoyed following NASCAR and was an avid Miami Dolphins and Florida Gators fan. Cecile is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Edward Cleary and her parents. Survivors include Daughters Maureen Carter (Willie) of Port Orange Kathleen Thomas (Frank) of St. Mary's Georgia Cindy MacKay (Ken) of Ocala Florida and son Brian (Wendy) of Holly Hill Florida 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
