Cecil L. Westberry 84 of Daytona Beach passed away May 16 2010. Cecil was born April 1 1926 in Daytona Beach FL to Washington & Lucy Westberry. Cecil was the first successful free-lance stenographer in Volusia County; he later opened American Court Reporting in 1972. During Cecil's career he worked as Court Reporter in the White House during the Eisenhower and Kennedy Administration. Cecil was also a veteran of the US Navy. A Memorial Service for Cecil will be held on Thursday May 27 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church 594 North Williamson Blvd. Daytona Beach beginning at 2:00pm.
Cecil is survived by his children sons Neil S. Westberry of South Daytona Beach FL Bromley P. Westberry of Deltona FL daughter Susan P. Westberry Coble of Virginia Beach VA Lauren C. Westberry of Deltona FL many extended family members and close friend Charles Harral.
Cecil is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
