A Celebration of the life of Cecil L. Upson 95 of Ormond Beach who passed away on Saturday April 29 2006 will be held on Wednesday May 3 2006 at 2:00 p m in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond in Ormond Beach. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from Noon until service time on Wednesday. Cecil was born on September 5 1910 in Andrews North Carolina. She moved to Florida in 1932 and was the last survivor of 13 siblings. The Upson family was one of the early pioneer families of Daytona Beach and Flagler Beach. Cecil was a ?perfect Nanny? to all her family a loving caretaker to all her friends and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She is preceded in death by her husband Louis W. Upson and her two grandsons Gerald W. Upson Jr. and Marc Upson. She is survived by her sons Lee Rita Upson Bill Sharon Upson Jerry Wanda Upson and Bob Upson all of Ormond Beach.
