Cecil Crawford Crull, 91 of Daytona Beach, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 16, 2014.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 between the hours of 12:00 P.M and 1:00 P.M., at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32114. The funeral service will begin in the chapel at 1:00 P.M, and burial will immediately follow with military honors a t Daytona Memorial Park.
Cecil was born on June 7, 1923 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late Cecil Crawford Crull Sr. and Esther Gemmill Crull. He attended William Penn High School. Cecil was a decorated United States Marine veteran of WWII that saw action in Okinawa and was part of the first wave on Guadalcanal. Following his service Cecil began work with the United States Border Patrol then transferred to US Customs where he rose through the ranks to become District Director of Inspections and Control for four states. He retired at 57 with 39 years of service dedicating himself to the protection of U.S. Citizens.
Cecil was a devoted parishioner of the United Presbyterian Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife of 62 years Donna Crull.
Cecil is survived by his devoted son, Jon C. Crull and his wife, Laura Crull, of Daytona Beach; grandchildren, Joseph Crull, Kelly Cotton and her husband, Scott Cotton, and great granddaughter, Katelyn Cotton.
