Cecelia Mary Voy, 94, beloved mother and trailblazing entrepreneur, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025. Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, Cecelia built a groundbreaking career in the sales and promotion industry in Detroit, Michigan, breaking barriers for women in business at a time when few dared.

Her gift for mentorship and fierce independence left a lasting imprint on her family, her clients, and countless others who sought her guidance. Cecelia was wise, strong-willed, and demanded the best from those she helped, especially those she loved most. Her expectations were high because her belief in others was even higher.

Cecelia is survived by her daughter, Dr. Mary Elizabeth Voy, and son-in-law, Paul Anthony Haughton. In accordance with her wishes, a private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
