Cecelia M. Kuhr (Blanford), known to friends as "Ceal," passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior Jesus while surrounded by family on May 15, 2018, at the age of 82 years.

Born in Hopkinsville, KY on June 26, 1935, Ceal moved to Daytona Beach in 1941 and graduated from Mainland High School in 1954. That same year she married the love of her life, Joseph Thomas Kuhr, Sr., being dedicated to him for 57 years until he preceded her in death in 2012. Ceal worked for Dunn's Toys and Hobby on Beach Street for many years before opening her own business Sara's Bears II in Port Orange.

Ceal enjoyed gardening, flowers, butterflies, clouds, and various collectibles, but her greatest joy was spending time surrounded by her family. She would always comment on how she loved and thrived on the confusion and noise of the family gatherings.

She is survived by her five children, Deborah M. Kuhr of Gulf Breeze, Joseph T. Kuhr II(Teresa) of Astor, A. Darlene Koch (Jim) of Port Orange, Jeffrey G. Kuhr (Cheryl) of Jacksonville and James E. Kuhr of Port Orange. Seven Grandchildren, Ryan R. Wheeler, Erin N. Murtola, Dione L. Kuhr, Joseph T Kuhr III, Jason Kuhr, J. Chad Kuhr (Natalie) and Richelle L. Sandel (Mike) and  eleven Great Grandchildren, Cameron, Zoey, Noah, Dominic, Abel, Lilly, Willow, Jaden, Isis, Ivan, and Myles.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday June 16th, 2018 at 1pm at the Lohman's Funeral Home, 1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Visitation begins at noon.
