Cecelia Brooks age 94 of Port Orange passed away suddenly on Friday December 17 2010. A private service in her honor will be held in New York following cremation. Cecilia born in New York and dedicated her life to taking care of her home her siblings (especially her baby brother ) and her family. She was a strong intelligent determined gentle soul who was a talented canvas and oil artist and avid golfer. She was also an avid supporter of the Salvation Army Her 3 siblings and beloved husband Will Brooks preceded her in death and she leaves behind a daughter Lucille DeGraff of New Jersey 4 grand children several great grandchildren nieces and nephews especially Keith and Diane Hommel of Charleston South Carolina. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Cardwell Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
