Cathy A. Clayton, 51, of Palm Coast, FL passed away on October 22, 2016. A Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 3:30pm to 8pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, October 28, 2016 at 1pm at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church in Flagler Beach.

Catherine Ann Clayton was born July 5, 1965 to Stephen and Beverly Ann (Kennedy) Clayton in Silver Spring, Maryland. Cathy grew up in Rockville, MD and graduated from Robert E. Peary High School, Class of 1983. She continued her education, with a BA in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.

Cathy devoted her life to helping children. She worked for ACT in Daytona Beach and then for Halifax Behavioral Services for 16 years. She was also a passionate Children's Advocate. Cathy's personal life was completely fulfilled by her family. Cathy, her husband Jason, and their children loved 4-H Club. Cathy was also a committee member for her son's Boy Scouts troop.

Cathy will be sadly missed by her loving friend and husband of 14 years, Jason Stanier, by her children Robert Stanier and Savannah Stanier, by her mother Beverly Ann Clayton, by her siblings: Stephen Clayton, Shari Clayton Brownlee, and Ginny Hunt, and by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
