Catherine Smith age 78 of Ponce Inlet died 5/18/2010 with her loving family by her side. A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Saturday June 12th @ Grace Episcopal Church @ 1:30 p.m. Visitation with family will be prior to Service beginning at 12:00 @ Grace Episcopal Church. Catherine was born Sept 6 1931 in Covington La. and was daughter of the late Charles & Honora Morse. Catherine and Hugh moved to the Daytona Beach area in 2004 from Monroe La. and made their home in Ponce Inlet Fl. She was a standing member of Ponce Inlet Garden Club and attended The Grace Episcopal Church in Port Orange Fl.
Catherine was the Loving wife of Hugh Smith for 55 years who precedes her in death and also Dear mother to her three sons Mike and Norman (& Patty of Monroe La. Kevin (& Kelly of Driftwood Texas; and her three daughters Libby Smith and Jennie Razer both of Ponce Inlet and Holly Smith of Monroe La. She also was a proud Grandmother of 8 Grandchildren; and 8 great-Grandchildren. And dearly loved her best friend Angel.
