Visitation Services for Catherine V. Sicilian age 70 who died Saturday August 2nd will be held on Sunday August 3rd from 3- 6pm at Ormond Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 7th at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Deer park NY.

Catherine V. Sicilian was the beloved wife of Peter of 45 years sister to Theresa and John mother of Mary James Peter and John and expectant grandmother for the first time. Catherine was known by all her friends and family as Kitty and was a vivacious and fun loving woman of enormous faith.

Kitty began her career in New York as an executive assistant for the chamber of commerce. Soon thereafter she elected to sacrifice her professional career and raise a family. Through her guidance encouragement persistence discipline and most of all love she ensured her four children were well educated. Those children went on to become a fire fighter two entrepreneurs and a lawyer.

Kitty loved to dance sing travel and spend time with her friends and family. She engaged in all of these varied activities and more with her loving husband Peter. Most importantly though Kitty dedicated her life to the pursuit of her faith and service to her community. That pursuit manifested itself through her significant involvement in numerous religious organizations including the St. Vincent De Paul Society Eucharistic Minister Group Rosary Altar Society and numerous informal prayer groups. Kitty also functioned as the head of the Outreach program at St. Cyril and Methodius Parish in Deer Park New York.

Memorial Donations may be made in Kitty?s honor to the Outreach programs of St. Cyril Catholic Church.
