Memorial Services for Catherine ?Babe? Ransley 85 of Port Orange will be held on Wednesday April 12th at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends from 4pm till time of service. Mrs. Ransley passed away Friday at the Port Orange Health and Rehab center. Born in Philadelphia Babe was a resident of this area for 53 years. She was a homemaker a former member of St Pauls Church the Daytona Beach Elks and the Halifax River Yacht Club. Babe was also a ?Pink Lady? at Halifax medical Center and she enjoyed playing golf painting and was an avid card player. Babe organized the first ever golf tournament and many music and fashion shows at HRYC.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Gil their son Gilbert of Hawaii daughter Cathy of South Daytona a sister Rita Alblaster of New Jersey 2 grandchildren James of CT. Heather of Chicago and a great grandson Jacob.
